Eivers Lane Childcare CLG Eslin Community Centre

Eivers Lane Childcare CLG, situated in Mohill, County Leitrim, operates a purpose‑built childcare centre that caters for children from birth to sixteen years. The centre emphasises a caring, experienced team and a values‑led approach, promoting spontaneous expression, self‑esteem and a desire for learning. Facilities include dedicated rooms for each age group, outdoor play areas and a modern, well‑maintained environment designed to support both early childhood education and later school‑age activities. The centre provides a comprehensive range of age‑specific programmes. The Baby Room (0‑12 months) offers personalised care that follows each child’s home routine, with feeding, changing and nappy‑time on demand. The Wobbler Room (12‑24 months) maintains a 1:5 staff‑to‑child ratio, includes daily outdoor access and provides meals and a nap area. For toddlers (2‑3 years) the ratio is 1:6, focusing on preparation for playschool, while the Play School (3‑4 years) supports the transition to pre‑school through social interaction and interest‑driven activities. A dedicated pre‑school provision delivers the free ECCE year (and a possible second free year) with full‑day care, meals and indoor/outdoor play. Beyond the early years, the centre runs an after‑school programme for children aged 5‑16 at the adjacent Canon Donohoe Hall. Services include a breakfast club, school drop‑off, homework support, themed activities such as Halloween, and a hot dinner each evening, providing a convenient solution for working families.
