Eivers Lane Childcare Centre (FDC)

Eivers Lane Childcare Centre is a purpose‑built facility located on Main Street Upper in Mohill, County Leitrim. The centre offers a welcoming environment for children from birth to sixteen years, with dedicated rooms and age‑appropriate programmes. A long‑term, experienced team provides a caring, stable setting, guided by core values of spontaneous expression, self‑esteem and a desire for learning. The centre’s modern, well‑maintained premises include indoor and outdoor play areas, a dedicated sleep room for younger children, and a separate after‑school hub at the adjacent Canon Donohoe Hall. The centre’s early years provision is divided into several age groups: a Baby Room (0‑12 months) that follows each infant’s home routine, a Wobblers room (12‑24 months) with a 1:5 staff‑to‑child ratio, a Toddler room (2‑3 years) preparing children for play‑school, and a Play‑School room (3‑4 years) that fosters friendships and early learning. A pre‑school programme provides free Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) for eligible children from three years of age, with some able to access two free years. For older children (5‑16 years), the centre runs an after‑school service offering a breakfast club, school drop‑off, homework support, themed activities, and a hot dinner each evening. This comprehensive offering supports families throughout the day, from full‑time creche to part‑time and after‑school care.
