About

Scoil Naomh Bríde is a co‑educational Catholic primary school situated in Blackwater, County Wexford. The school provides a caring, well‑ordered environment where pupils’ intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs are identified and nurtured. A strong emphasis is placed on holistic development, with a balanced curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity and critical thinking while fostering respect, tolerance and responsibility. The teaching team prioritises personalised learning, allowing each child to progress at their own pace and to achieve their full potential. The school offers a wide range of extra‑curricular and co‑curricular activities, including sports, music, student leadership and community projects, supported by an active Parents Association. Recent investment through a 2021 EU‑funded grant has equipped the school with a fleet of iPads, helping to bridge the digital divide and enhance both classroom and remote learning. Regular partnership with families and a vibrant Student Council further enrich the school community, while the most recent WSE follow‑through inspection (March 2018) confirms the school’s commitment to best practice in education.
