About
Gaelscoil Inis Córthaidh is a modern Irish‑medium primary school situated in the shadow of Vinegar Hill, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. The school provides a fully immersive Gaelic education, where all learning, play and extracurricular activities are conducted through Irish. Its curriculum is complemented by a wide range of enrichment programmes, including drama, music, coding and gardening, allowing pupils to develop both academic and creative skills in a supportive, caring environment. The campus boasts extensive facilities: a large sports pitch, two basketball courts, a junior play area, a state‑of‑the‑art library and an award‑winning garden featuring a polytunnel and raised beds. These resources support a vibrant programme of sport (football, Gaelic football, hurling, swimming, fencing, golf and more) and cultural activities such as a school band and music classes. In addition, the school offers before‑ and after‑school care through its Club Maidine/Tráthnóna and an on‑site Scoil na nÓg (Irish‑speaking playschool), providing a seamless, all‑day learning experience for families.
