About

Scoil Mhuire, Davidstown Primary School is a Catholic, co‑educational primary school serving children from Junior Infants to 6th class. The school follows a holistic, child‑centred approach that seeks to nurture intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural development. It is recognised as a Green School, a Health Promoting School and a Digital School, embedding sustainability, wellbeing and modern technology throughout the curriculum. The teaching ethos is underpinned by Christian values such as respect, love, honesty and cooperation, and the school works closely with families to support the transmission of the Catholic faith. The campus provides a range of contemporary facilities designed to enhance learning and play. Four bright, modern classrooms are complemented by a dedicated learning support and resource room, a purpose‑built sensory room and a purpose room for specialised activities. Significant investment in ICT equips pupils with computers, tablets and programming resources that are integrated across subjects. Outdoor provision includes an outdoor classroom, a fruit and vegetable garden, a sensory garden trail, a willow hut and well‑marked play areas, alongside a grass pitch and basketball court. The school also runs a Breakfast Club and Homework Club, both registered with TUSLA and eligible for the National Childcare Subsidy.
