Teach Spraoi Nature Kindergarden Ltd

Teach Spraoi Nature Kindergarten is a purpose‑built early years setting situated on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, bordering the world‑renowned Burren. For over twelve years the centre has provided a nature‑focused kindergarten experience across more than two acres of wild natural environment, including its own woodland where rabbits, hares, foxes and red squirrels are regular visitors. A large sensory dome, which retains heat year‑round, adds a unique indoor element to the outdoor‑rich programme. The centre’s philosophy centres on active, child‑led learning, encouraging children to explore, observe and ask questions in a natural setting. Curriculum themes integrate numeracy and literacy through nature‑based activities, while social development is fostered through collaborative play and the formation of lifelong friendships. A ‘key carer’ system ensures each child has a primary caregiver who works closely with families, using observations and assessments to support each child’s progress and confidence. Through daily outdoor play and structured learning experiences, Teach Spraoi aims to nurture confident, curious learners who develop strong roots in their community and a lasting love for the natural world.
