Killegney Early Years

Winston & Willows Early Years, the newest state‑of‑the‑art facility on the Carraig Briste & Killegney campus, is situated on a family farm in Oulart, County Wexford. Planned to open in September 2026, the centre will provide a warm, homely environment where children can move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces. The setting is designed around extensive outdoor play, with opportunities for mud‑pie exploration, gardening, nature walks and creative art using natural, recycled materials. The centre follows a child‑centred philosophy that blends Montessori, Reggio Emilia, nature pedagogy and Forest School principles. Learning is delivered through play, encouraging children to develop at their own pace while building confidence, curiosity and a love of the natural world. The curriculum is aligned with the Irish Early Childhood Curriculum Framework, and the staff are highly qualified to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for both preschool and after‑school programmes.
