Sacred Heart Day Centre, HSE South

Located in the centre of Waterford City, the Sacred Heart Day Centre is a purpose-built premises from 1974 that caters specifically for children with learning and physical disabilities. It runs a morning preschool session from 09:00 to 11:45 and an afternoon session from 12:30 to 15:15, Monday to Friday, for children aged 2 to 6. The centre is open 08:00 to 17:00. The building has three childcare rooms, a food preparation area, adapted sanitary facilities, therapy rooms, meeting rooms, and a parents' room. Outdoors, there is a secure play area with adapted equipment.
