Established in 1996 on the grounds of Ruan National School, Ruan Community Childcare Ltd. is a community service in Co. Clare. It takes children aged 2 to 6 on a sessional and part-time basis, Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 14:00, with a school-age service running after the part-time session ends. The single-storey, purpose-built building houses three interlinked open plan rooms: the blue, red, and green rooms. A large enclosed outdoor play area to the rear and side of the building includes a canopy-covered section suitable for sensory play in all weather.
