Teaching is through Irish, and children come from families across the parish. The naíonra is based in the second of the two buildings at Claregalway Community Centre at Lakeview, sharing that building with dressing rooms. The centre itself has been running since 1980 and also contains a full-size sports hall with a stage and kitchen, two upstairs meeting rooms and a handball alley added in 2018. Other users of the site include badminton, basketball and handball clubs, a drama group, a youth hub and a Scout group.
