Macroom Family Resource Centre, St Josephs Preschool

Macroom Family Resource Centre, St Josephs Preschool is a community-based sessional service in the centre of Macroom town, operating from the ground floor of a two-storey building on the grounds of St Josephs National School. It caters for children aged 3 to 6 years and participates in the ECCE scheme. The premises includes an entrance hall, one playroom, and adult and children's toilet facilities, with a corner of the playroom set aside as a kitchenette and administration area. Children use the national school yard for outdoor play in rotation with school classes. The service first opened in 2021 and is run by the Macroom Family Resource Centre, a community-owned organisation.
