Macroom Family Resource Centre Ltd

Macroom Family Resource Centre is a community-owned facility in Macroom, Co. Cork, that opened in 2005. The childcare service takes children from 3 months until they begin school and offers full day, part time and sessional places. A pre-school play group, creche day care and an after schools service with collection are available. The centre includes a fully outfitted sensory room, used to support children with sensory processing difficulties and also enjoyed by typically developing children. Staff received foundational training from a paediatric occupational therapist to assist with sensory activities.
