Little Owl's Naionra and Clubhouse

Little Owl's Naíonra and Clubhouse opened in 2020 in Ballina, north Tipperary, as a sessional and school age care service for children aged 2 to 6. Sessions run from 09:15 to 12:15, Monday to Friday, for 38 weeks of the year. Places are funded under the ECCE scheme. The service is bilingual, using both Irish and English throughout the morning. It operates from a purpose-built ground-floor apartment in a residential area, with three activity rooms, two of which are in use with pre-school children, plus a kitchen, entrance hall, sanitary facilities, and an enclosed outdoor play area. Most children enrolled also attend the linked Owl and the Pussycat Day Care service and are transported between the two.
