Acorn Montessori

Acorn Montessori offers a dedicated daily after‑school care service designed to support families with school‑age children. Positioned as “the perfect solution to your after‑school dilemma”, the centre provides a structured environment where children can unwind, engage in creative activities and continue learning beyond the classroom. The programme runs from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring flexible coverage for working parents. The facility embraces a Montessori‑inspired approach, encouraging hands‑on exploration through maths‑focused stations, arts and crafts such as cutting and painting, and themed projects like “Friendship Tree”, “Down on the Farm” and seasonal Easter egg activities. These varied stations aim to develop confidence, problem‑solving skills and social interaction in a nurturing setting. With a range of “EEEC places available”, the centre appears to cater to early childhood care and education alongside its after‑school provision, offering a holistic environment for children’s development.
