Carealot Daycare

Carealot Daycare describes itself as a “home from home” where each child is encouraged to be individual, express themselves and thrive in a warm, safe and welcoming environment. The centre places a strong emphasis on outdoor play, offering plentiful activities in all weather conditions to support physical, social and emotional development. Healthy, nutritionally balanced meals are provided in line with EHO registration standards, and the facility operates from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, catering for full‑day care. The centre is organised into age‑specific rooms, beginning with a baby room for children aged 6 months to 12/18 months, followed by a wobbler room for 12/18 months to 2 years, a kindergarten room for 2‑3 years, a preschool room for 3‑4 years and a pre‑primary room for 4‑5 years. Each room follows the Aistear and Siolta curriculum frameworks, incorporates an emergent curriculum approach, and maintains staff‑to‑child ratios that meet regulatory requirements. Regular assessments and communication with parents ensure that each child’s progress is monitored and supported.
