A Place to Grow Raheen FRC

A Place to Grow Raheen operates within the ARC Family Resource Centre, a TUSLA‑funded service based in Raheen with outreach offices in Clonroche and Adamstown. As part of a national network of 121 Family Resource Centres, it delivers a holistic approach to early childhood care and education, working alongside the Raheen Day Centre to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. The centre’s ethos is grounded in the shared vision of inclusion, equity and optimal wellbeing for children, families and the wider community. The facility offers a range of childcare options designed to meet the evolving needs of families, from infant care to preschool‑age programmes. Emphasis is placed on creating a supportive, community‑focused setting where children can develop socially, emotionally and cognitively. In addition to direct childcare, the centre provides family resources, community events and courses, and collaborates with local volunteers and organisations to enhance the support network available to parents and caregivers.
