Operating under the patronage of Bishop Kevin Doran of Elphin, the school embraces a strong Catholic ethos while welcoming children of all faiths and none. Its educational philosophy is holistic, aiming to nurture the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural development of each pupil. The school’s mission stresses a safe, happy, healthy and welcoming environment where every child can reach their full potential, guided by the motto “Our talents are God’s gift to us. Our gift to God is what we do with them.” The teaching team comprises four mainstream class teachers, two Special Educational Needs (SET) teachers (one part‑time), a Special Needs Assistant and a part‑time secretary, providing a supportive framework for diverse learning needs. Emphasis is placed on inclusive practices, caring relationships and a vibrant school life that balances academic rigour with spiritual and cultural enrichment. Facilities and daily routines are designed to foster a sense of community, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, creativity and a love of learning within a nurturing setting.
