About

Lissycasey National School is a co‑educational primary school serving children from Junior Infants through to 6th class. Situated on the main Ennis‑to‑Kilrush Road (N68) in Lissycasey, County Clare, the school provides a welcoming environment for the local community. In addition to mainstream classes, the school operates two dedicated classrooms for pupils with autism, reflecting its commitment to inclusive education. The school’s Catholic ethos underpins a holistic learning approach that seeks to nurture each child’s academic, social and spiritual development. Teaching staff are described as dedicated and caring, working to enable every pupil to reach their full potential and to face life confidently. The curriculum is delivered in a supportive atmosphere that celebrates individual talents and promotes respect, collaboration and lifelong learning. A broad range of extra‑curricular activities enriches the pupil experience, including football, soccer, basketball, music, art, coding, quiz competitions, chess and strong links with the local GAA. These programmes, together with the specialised autism classes, provide diverse opportunities for personal growth and community involvement.
