About

Under the patronage of Educate Together, Glasnevin Educate Together National School enrols 410 pupils at its site on Griffith Avenue in Dublin 11. It is multi-denominational and co-educational, and the four principles it names also cover being child centred and democratically run. Every year group from Junior Infants to 6th Class is divided into two classes, and two further class groups, ALC Green and ALC Blue, operate alongside them. Gates and doors open at 8.40am, roll call is at 9.00am, and two sós breaks divide the teaching day. Junior and Senior Infants finish at 1.20pm, while 1st to 6th Class finish at 2.20pm. The school has high speed broadband connectivity provided under a Department of Education programme. Ní Neart Go Cur Le Chéile appears as the school's Irish phrase, with an English line about being stronger and brighter together.
