Coláiste na Ríochta is a co-educational secondary school in Listowel, Co. Kerry, under the patronage of Kerry Education and Training Board. The school has DEIS status and an enrolment of approximately 178 students. The curriculum covers the Junior Certificate, Junior Certificate Schools Programme, Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme and Transition Year. Transition Year was first offered in September 2023 and includes core subjects of English, Irish, Maths, French or Spanish, Guidance, Wellbeing and Computer Studies, with subject sampling in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Home Economics, History, Geography, Construction Studies and Business. Modules include the Young Social Innovator Programme, Gaisce, work experience and QQI Level 4 qualifications. The school also provides STEM education, special educational needs support, guidance and wellbeing programmes. Extra-curricular activities and a house system form part of school life.
