The Farmyard Kindergarten

The Farmyard Kindergarten operates two Steiner-oriented preschools in Cork city, one at the Quaker Meeting House in Summerhill South and one at Strawberry Hill. Both offer morning and afternoon ECCE sessions for children aged two and a half to five years. The Quaker House Kindergarten opens 09:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. The Strawberry Hill Kindergarten runs 09:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00, also Monday to Friday. The service has operated since 2017 and is largely based outdoors, with a large outdoor area and an indoor care room on the ground floor. Seasonal festivals are celebrated throughout the year.
