The Chalet Montessori School

The Chalet Montessori School has been running in a residential part of Cork city since 1991. The service sits on the same grounds as the provider's home and takes children from 2 years 6 months up to 5 years old. It runs two sessions each day: one from 8:30 to 11:30 and a second from 12:00 to 15:00. The approach blends play-based learning with Montessori methods, with a combined maximum of 11 children across both sessions. Places are available under the ECCE pre-school programme. Two members of staff support the service, each holding a major award in Early Childhood Care and Education at level 5 or above.
