St. Mary's Pre School

St. Mary's Pre School sits within the grounds of St Mary's National School in Enniskeane, Co. Cork. This sessional service is approved to run both a morning session, from 09:00 to 12:00, and an afternoon session, from 12:15 to 15:15, though at present only the morning session operates. Two rooms in a prefabricated building are used. The setting has a large, fully enclosed outdoor area and follows a play-based approach with an emphasis on outdoor activity and nature. Six staff assist in delivering the programme, and all those working directly with children hold a major award in Early Childhood Care and Education.
