About
Situated on Inis Oírr, off the coast of Galway, this sessional preschool operates from a purpose-built building beside the national school. Sessions run 09:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday, for children aged 2 to 6 years. The programme is delivered through Irish under the governance of Comhar Naíonraí na Gaeltachta. Learning takes place in the main playroom and is child-led, based on emerging interests. Children have access to a designated play area to the side of the premises, and use allocated time slots on the school playground and grass area.
