Little Mochtas

St. Mochta’s National School, situated on Porterstown Road in Clonsilla, Dublin 15, provides a welcoming, inclusive environment for children in a large co‑educational Catholic primary setting. The school’s ethos is built around the motto “Everyone has opportunities to succeed. Everyone is treated with respect,” and it places a strong emphasis on the social, emotional and holistic development of its pupils. A safe, happy and secure learning atmosphere is prioritised, with supportive relationships and close teamwork fostering an inclusive community where every child’s contribution is valued. In addition to its primary curriculum, St. Mochta’s offers a range of after‑school activities and dedicated after‑school child‑care services, supporting families beyond the standard school day. The facility benefits from modern classrooms, a well‑maintained school yard, and a variety of digital resources, including laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, visualisers and robotics sets, acquired through European Union funding to bridge the digital divide. An active Parents’ Association further enhances community involvement and enriches the overall educational experience.
