Killeedy Preschool

Killeedy Preschool is a community-run sessional service in the rural village of Ashford, Co. Limerick. It operates from a former schoolhouse and opens Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 12:00. The service caters for children aged 2 to 6 years and offers part-time and sessional places. Children use one large preschool room, with an outdoor play area surrounding the building. The ECCE scheme provides free preschool hours, and children are entitled to two academic years on the programme. The service is run by a local committee and prepares children for primary school in nearby West Limerick schools.
