Clonakilty Creche & Playschool

Clonakilty Creche & Playschool is a privately owned full day care service in operation since 2000, situated in the West Cork Technology Park near Clonakilty town. It caters for children from 1 to 6 years, with sessional, part time and full day options, including the ECCE Scheme. The service operates from ground floor rooms in a commercial building adapted as a childcare setting, with three care rooms: Infant Montessori, Junior Montessori and Senior Montessori. There is a separate sleep area off the Infant Montessori room, an administration office, kitchen and storeroom, and an outdoor play area beside the premises. Opening hours are 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. The service is part of the Hopscotch Childcare group, which has operated since 1993 and uses a Montessori-based curriculum linked to Aistear.
