Blanchardstown Home - Start

Blanchardstown Home-Start is a charity in Dublin 15 offering family support and early years care. Volunteers visit families in their own homes once a week for about 2 hours. The service also runs a respite creche from two buildings on Blakestown Road, the Creche and the Treehouse. It provides part-time care for up to 38 children aged 0 to 6 years, Monday to Friday, in two sessions: 09:00 to 13:00 and 13:15 to 17:00. Rooms include the Bears and Cubs room for 4 months to 3 years, the Rainforest Room for 2 years 8 months to 5 years, and the Sunshine Room for 2 to 5 years. Both buildings have enclosed outdoor play areas. The service is multicultural and multi-denominational.
