Ballaghderg Pre-School

On the outskirts of Letterkenny in Co. Donegal, Ballaghderg Pre-School has operated as an early years service since 1997. Governed by the Health Service Executive, it specialises in full day care for children aged 2 to 6 with moderate to severe learning and physical disabilities. Hours run from 08:45 to 14:00 on weekdays. The service operates from a detached dormer bungalow adapted for specialist childcare use. Downstairs there are 3 playrooms, a sensory therapeutic room, a kitchen and children's sanitary facilities. The first floor holds office and staffroom facilities. A large multi-sensory garden at the rear includes specialist provisions for children with additional needs.
