An Naíonra Gaelscoil Ó Doghair

Sessional preschool places at Caisleán Nua Thiar, Co. Limerick are provided by An Naíonra Gaelscoil Ó Doghair, which runs each day from 09:00 to 12:00. An extra hour is available afterwards until 13:00. Children aged 3 to 5 attend, and places are offered under the ECCE programme. The daily programme is child centred and built around Aistear, the early childhood curriculum. It operates at the Gaelscoil on Station Road, an all-Irish mixed primary school founded in 1985, which moved into its current building in 2006 after years in the local community centre. Irish is the language of teaching and of everyday conversation between pupils and teachers at the school.
