Its mission centres on building confidence, self‑esteem and academic achievement while encouraging respect for the environment, Irish heritage and personal responsibility. The curriculum is delivered across Junior Infants to Sixth Class, with a particular emphasis on bilingual development – pupils are encouraged to use Gaeilge in everyday learning and to explore the natural surroundings as part of their studies. Parent involvement is actively promoted through regular home‑school communication, supporting a collaborative approach to each child’s development.

The school has continued to evolve, maintaining its community focus and Catholic ethos throughout its history.
