The school also offers a range of extracurricular activities and a vibrant community ethos, reflected in its parents’ association and regular newsletters.
History
Catholic primary education in Moville was previously delivered by St Brigid’s Girls National School and St Joseph’s Boys National School. In 1996 these two schools amalgamated to form Scoil Eoghain. The school operated on two separate sites until 2008, when temporary accommodation on the former boys’ school site allowed the construction of a new building on the former St Brigid’s site. Scoil Eoghain moved into the new premises in November 2009. The school is under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Derry and identifies as a Catholic school.
