The curriculum follows the Primary School Curriculum set by the Department of Education & Skills and is underpinned by a positive culture built on the principles of respect, honesty, kindness, diligence and happiness. With over 600 pupils, the school offers a broad range of learning experiences, from core academic subjects to a rich programme of extra‑curricular activities such as Gaelic football, camogie, basketball, choir and environmental initiatives. The school’s ethos emphasises both academic achievement and personal development. Small class sizes and a dedicated team of 36 teachers and eight Special Needs Assistants ensure that individual learning needs are met, while the emphasis on a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere encourages confidence and social growth. Facilities are designed to support a variety of activities, providing spaces for sport, music, and collaborative learning, reinforcing the school’s commitment to a well‑rounded education.
