About

Gaelscoil Éanna is an all-Irish Catholic co-educational primary school in An Uaimh (Navan), Co. na Mí, under the patronage of the Bishop. The school has 137 children enrolled, with a team comprising the principal, 10 teachers, 6 special needs assistants and a secretary. All subjects are taught through Irish except English, which is taught as a separate subject. In Junior and Senior Infants, Irish is the sole spoken language under a total immersion system, with the English curriculum commencing at the beginning of First Class. The building also houses Naíonra Éanna, an all-Irish preschool with 22 children. Facilities include a halla and stage, an Astro all-weather pitch, basketball courts, a large playground, and parking for cars and buses. Each classroom has an interactive panel, and iPads are available for pupil use. The school has an ASD class.
