Mainstream classes are organised in combined groupings, and the school also runs classes for pupils with additional needs. Enrolment stands at 125 pupils. The curriculum covers English, Gaeilge, Maths, History, Geography, Science, Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education, SPHE and Religious Education, with station teaching and paired reading used as teaching approaches. Sport takes in Gaelic games, soccer, rugby, Olympic handball, badminton, dance, yoga and swimming, and the school holds Active School and Green Flag status. Environmental work includes a school garden, tree planting and recycling. Pupils enter the Credit Union quiz, and a travelling theatre company stages an annual production for the school. The school motto is given as Ní Neart go cur le Chéile, translated as there is no strength without unity.
