About

Bennettsbridge Mixed National School provides a safe and stimulating learning environment for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class. The school’s ethos centres on the motto “Learn. Create. Grow”, encouraging pupils to develop academically, socially and creatively. A strong emphasis is placed on inclusive education, with dedicated special‑education provision and English as an Additional Language (EAL) support, ensuring that every learner can thrive regardless of ability or background. The school benefits from recent investment through the EU‑funded Next Generation EU programme, which has upgraded the SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) room with enhanced Wi‑Fi, a new projector, speakers and a fleet of iPads to promote digital equity. Complementary initiatives such as Accelerated Reader, Literacy Lift‑Off and a smartphone‑free policy foster a focus on literacy, healthy habits and responsible technology use. A wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, drama, Irish dancing and outdoor learning in a new outdoor classroom, further enrich the pupil experience and promote holistic development.
