The party
The Cookery Cottage is a cooking school in Cork that offers children's birthday parties. Parties are hands-on cooking experiences where children make their own pizza, decorate cupcakes, and sometimes prepare dough balls or cookies. The birthday child can decorate a cake to take home. Three party options are available: Pizza and Cupcakes, Afternoon Tea, and Italian, each lasting about two hours. Parties are held on Thursdays through Sundays, with a capacity of 10 to 40 children. Parents do not stay in the kitchen but can wait in an outside seating area where tea and coffee are provided. The venue does not allow outside food and advises that children with severe allergies should not attend.

Deposit of €30 per party required, non-refundable. Parties held Thursdays to Sundays. Saturday slots: 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm. Sunday slots: 12pm-2pm, 3pm-5pm. Call for Mon-Fri times.
